Show and Tell Friday!

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  I was looking through some old photos and found some old fall decor photos from 3 years ago!  I sold this white hutch and now that I'm looking at these photos I'm sort of missing it a bit!  It sure was fun to change the decor in it for the seasons!

Last week I mentioned that I was going to a 70s and 80s party last Friday night so I thought I would share my crazy outfit with you!  I was going for the Cindy Lauper look but everyone kept calling me Madonna.

My friend still had some of the clothes she wore back in the 80s!!!  Even her little booties were hers back then!  It's hard to tell but her velvet jacket has the big poofy shoulders!  My pink tights are actually fishnets but you really can't tell in this photo!

We had fun but neither of us won "Best Dudette"!

I really loved having pink hair that night but I'm so thankful it washed out.  It said on the can not to use it on blonde hair so I was really taking a big chance!

It's so funny....I look at this photo and laugh! When I was younger I never thought I would be doing silly things like this at 52 years old! I'm having fun though!

Cindy, you look like Cindy Lauper to me. If you were to be Madonna
you would be standing there in
a pointed bra. LOL. Shoulder pads
were sooo popular back then. We
went around looking like body builders and didn't realize it.
Funny and we thought we looked so
good. I am so glad you are having
fun. Hope you have a fun weekend.

I could totally tell that you were Cyndi Lauper, even before I read it. I don't remember Madonna ever sporting pink hair.....

It's great that you are having so much fun in your 50's, but this blog should be put to rest since the only the thing you post is for hosting show and tell Friday and the "old photos" that you round up for it. All the other things could be posted on your fit and fabulous fifties blog.
