Show and Tell Friday!

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!

Today I have something special to share!

We have little birds making a nest behind this cherub on my fence!  For the last couple weeks we've seen two little birds in the tree with twigs and weeds in their beaks. We kept looking up in the tree for the nest but couldn't find it.  The other day I was outside and I saw one of the birds swoop down off the fence and slip behind the cherub!  After he left I looked behind there and saw the makings of a nest! They have been so busy nesting, coming and going all day!  I wish I could tell you what type of birds they are but I have no idea. They are small and brown and have long beaks.  It's so much fun to watch them!

UPDATE: Thanks to Donna I now know they are Wrens!

If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden.  If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog.

Thanks to all of you that join in every week!

Hello and good morning! I was making homemade yogurt, so naturally had to make some Simple Tasty Granola (# 212 ). Using Agave Nectar, some oats and a few nuts, I have a yummy treat waiting for me every morning. Hope you enjoy my recipe! Thanks for hosting the party once again. Have a great week!

seems like the little birds always built their next over my front porch light fixture, where out back there is lots of better places.

always like seeing your beautiful pictures of your flowers, we need rain so bad here in Missouri , I keep watering my hydrangeas every other day to keep them blooming

Cindy I had a wren which is a small brown bird build a nest in
my flower pot with my Geranium.
I had to be careful watering because of the little ones. They grow fast and are gone in about 2 weeks. That is probably what you have, they will build anywhere. Beautiful pictures.
