Capitola Art and Wine Festival

Pin It Now!

I had such a great weekend, it was a girl's weekend away!  We stayed at a friend's beach house in Aptos, California which is only about 30 minutes away from us. We got there Saturday afternoon and stopped at Trader Joes for lots of snack food which we ate for dinner along with some very good margaritas!  Later that evening we all went out dancing! We had a blast!
Sunday afternoon we went to the Capitola Art and Wine Festival!  I brought my camera along to share it with you!
Aren't these glass pumpkins so beautiful?
Capitola is a cute little beach town with lots of shops...

The only bad thing about the day was that the sun never came out. It was foggy all day!

The weekend went by so fast but we had so much fun!

Cindy,
This looks like so much fun. I love the booth with the glass gourds! I also noticed that people have sweaters on! Is it chilly there?

Going to festivals is one of my favorite things to do on the weekend. Really liked the glass pumpkins and the lavender painting. Read your review on the new TV show....that looks pretty good. I'm a huge fan of Stephanie Powers. If I had a mystical power I'd use it to clean my house and grocery shop, for sure!

Mary, yes it was cold by the coast but warm inland. We've had a really cool summer here this year!

H & G...Stephanie Powers is the characters name, not the actress ...

Cindy glad to see you having fun.
I love the booth with the glass
pumpkins and the glass artist that
coordinated his shirt with his
glass vases. Beautiful all of it.
Thanks for sharing.":O)

Even with the fog it looked like a great time. I miss going to and selling at the Art & Wine Festivals. They don't have them here in the Sacramento area. Down in the bay area every city has one and sometimes more than one. I love the glass pumpkins. I wonder if they have a web site. Google here I come! :) Thanks for sharing your fun time!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time and Traders Joe's provided you with a gourmet meal...lol...and the company was fabulous...fog, or no fog, it looks like you had a ball! Diana

I love those glass pumpkins. I don't buy a lot of seasonal items, but those I would. Love Capitola, spent many summer days there when I was in high school. I love getting over to the coast to get out of this valley heat. I'll take it, fog and all:-) Thanks for sharing the beautiful art.

Hello Cindy, I'm so glad you had such a fun time. I love anywhere by the ocean. Maybe that's because I was born In England, an island. I love being by the sea. I loved the glass pumpkins. They were so unusual and beautiful. Glad you got to go. Beverley
