Need a room makeover?

photo: www.bhg.com
I was recently contacted by someone from Better Homes & Gardens (how cool is that?) to spread the word that they just opened their "Save my Room" contest at www.BHG.com/savemyroom.

Simply enter a photo of a household room needing some decorating help and you have a chance to win a room makeover from the master decorator Stephen Saint-Onge. The makeover includes painting, furniture and accessories, and the winner’s room will be featured in the November issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine and on the website.

The cottage style rooms Stephen Saint-Onge has designed are so beautiful! You can see more of his makeovers, just click here.

Good luck if you decide to enter!

  6. What a compliment that BHG would contact you to put out the word. Thanks for the heads up. I may have to enter tonight. I have been wanting to redo my dark 70's paneled family room for years, but just don't know where to start. It is so depressing in there.

  11. Oh Cindy, I hate to blow your bubble but I got this same email and so did others as I've seen posts on their blogs about this email too. I think it's just a mass mailing to get free advertisement.

Wait, it just dawned on me that maybe you knew that and this post was more of a joke???

Oh well, either way, it would still be fun to enter and win.

    Hugs,
    Joanne

  31. I think they made a bit of a mistake..they should make you do the make-over and than put him in as a sort of furniture on a chair or in a bed because he is gorgeous!!( I am lucky to be on the other side of the ocean)

  37. Congrats on Hgtv, how wonderful is that? You do deserve the accolades!
Now I want a room makeover!
Everyday I journey thru blog land and visit all of the beautiful fairylike homes but never seem to quite achieve the look of a special Fairy’s place aka living room where I can ponder on my thoughts of the day and dream up creative ideas.
It certainly would be lovely to have the opportunity, wouldn’t it? Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated and now I’m off to see if I can join!

    Hugs Annabelle
