This is my second post today so make sure you read the one below first! They made a mistake when they sent me the email...it's not my outdoor space they are interested in, it's my armoire! That makes a lot more sense to me. My patio just isn't that great and was the lowest rated "room" I had on HGTV's Rate My Space. 
I've found out since my last post that I need to submit a video that shows my whole home and someone has to ask me a bunch of questions that they have provided! I think I feel the need to go buy a new outfit to wear, get my hair and nails done, eyebrows waxed, clean the whole house, hire a carpet cleaner, find someone to video tape me, buy new towels for the bathroom, buy fresh flowers, make sure the dog doesn't bark....Am I forgetting anything??? LAUREN...GO CLEAN YOUR ROOM! This is not going to be easy!
From the video they decide if you are HGTV material (they didn't really say that, those are my words.) Boy will that be a letdown not to get chosen after all that!

Well, some vases of your beautiful roses would be a very nice touch but I doubt you have to go to all that other trouble and expense because somehow I suspect you and your whole house are almost always "camera ready."
Relax...take a deep breath...and just be yourself!
You GO GIRL!!!! HGTV has filmed about 6 houses in my neighborhood over the last couple of years. Mostly for the old home renovation shows. We have friends who have worked with them and they give them glowing compliments. HGTV is very professional and easy to work with...don't sweat the small stuff...enjoy the experience! Even if they were not going to choose you, it would be an experience. But I think you'd do fine. I don't know you personally, but you seem like you would do fine under pressure.
Make a list of things and check them off.
Wear something light and spring like.

As I look at your pictures, I imagine that it must be so nice to come home at the end of the day and rest in the haven you have so amazingly created for yourself and your daughter!

They don't make it easy do they? I would be just like you thinking of all the things I had to do and buy for your video, plus I would need to lose 30 pounds first, LOL.
