It's good to drink your wine!

Pin It Now!

Someone emailed this to me, I just had to share. My friends know that I love wine!

It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poo. However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Ergo: It is better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of crap. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I am doing it as a public service.

As if I really needed another reason! This makes me feel better about the two BIG glasses that I just had while watching Grey's Anatomy! Thanks for the smile!

Cindy Dear, nice try. Get some good water, if your tap has poo in it. You need water. LOL
But good wine is just good wine, not a replacement for water. That would be like not drinking water because you increase your intake of chocolate. Oh that's a thought.

Cindy - it's our civic duty, as Californians, to drink as much wine as possible. I know I'm doing my part.

Some warm, late Spring or early Summer evening you, my sister and I are going to have to meet and have a glass of wine. Or three.

When I first started reading your blog the thing that endeared me to you most was the post about tripping up your staircase. I knew you were a kindred spirit.
