I went to the Salvation Army today to look around. I found this cute little chair. The print is a little too busy for me but I plan on making a white slipcover for it. It's a really good quality chair and it has a down/feather cushion. It looks brand new, I think someone must have had it in their bedroom because it looks like it's never been used. The best part...it was only $36. The picture does not do it justice at all, it's really a lot cuter in person. The colors are blue, yellow, green and pink with a white background.
I also found these needlepoint Christmas stockings the other day at another thrift store near mel. They were only a $1 each. They have a sewn-in tag that says "Do not sell, display only." I think they must have been the display stockings at a store???

Cindy I love to put white slipcovers on old chairs too... love old chairs... they are soft and squishy... and lots of times not so big... like todays pieces. Love the needlepoint too.
What fantastic finds! Love the needlepoint stockings.
The stockings are so precious. The chair is quite the find. I think that Crate and Barrel might have slip covers for them (at least they did a few years back).
Just found your blog and wanted to say hello!
I also love to shop at thrift stores. The chair is sweet!
Great finds, Cindy. That chair will look perfect with a white slipcover, but I think everything looks better with a slipcover!
