Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
I love this time of year...when my Eden rose bush blooms again after its winter break! I sure look forward to having these beautiful bouquets in my home again! This bouquet will be the first of many! It blooms continuously from now until December!
I put these roses that I picked this morning in a little vintage cherub dish I have in my collection. I'm really looking forward to filling my home with my favorite rose of all time.
Here is a photo of my Eden rose in my backyard. As you can see, it's filled with buds! That makes me blissfully happy!
Another thing that fills my heart with joy is that the wrens have built another nest in the back of the concrete angel head hanging on my fence. The eggs have hatched and the mommy and daddy wren are so busy bringing bugs to feed their babies. I can't see the babies but I can sure hear them!
I was a little worried that when I stole their nest last year after they moved out that they wouldn't come back again this year but they have! I plan to steal this nest too! haha!

ReplyDeleteCindy, your roses are always simply gorgeous. I can only grow the Knock Out variety successfully, and they are not good cutting roses. Thanks for hosting.

ReplyDeleteRoses in bloom is still just a dream here. It will be many weeks before I can fill my vases so I will just have to content myself with looking at your beauties! What a sweet place for the birds to nest.
ReplyDeleteI was inspired to buy the Eden rose after looking at yours the last few years :) I enjoyed it so much last year and now it is just starting to bud (we are a little behind you in Oregon). I am so glad I learned of this rose from you--I have enjoyed it so much. Enjoy yours--it is looking gorgeous! Thanks for hosting the party too :)

I am not familiar with the Eden rose, but now I love it. And your plant looks so very healthy and happy. What do you feed your roses? In Seattle the pruned canes are barely leafing out. No roses for awhile, here!
ReplyDeleteWow, your roses are gorgeous! Thanks for being a gracious hostess each week, Cindy! Autumn greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla

Lucky you to have your roses so early in the year. I'm jealous because I must wait for another 2 months (in Northern Ohio). Your Eden roses are gorgeous! And I have to laugh at you "stealing" the bird's nest. . .I do the same thing! And, they keep re-building.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses indeed
