Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
Spring has sprung here in Northern California and I'm enjoying all my garden blooms! This weekend it's supposed to be in the 80s so I think we are going straight to summer!
I bought this wood box years ago and stenciled the word "Flowers" on the front of it. It's been sitting in my backyard for the last couple years and now has a very faded and worn look which I like even better! I thought it would be a great way to display my flowers.
I just put some small jelly jars inside it and filled them with the cut flowers! I was surprised with how beautiful it turned out!
I also want to share an amazing recipe I recently found. I saw it on someone's Facebook page but I cannot remember who put the link up.
If you love garlicky prawns but want a healthy version that isn't loaded with butter you should try this. I made it for Allen and I and we both loved it! It's so easy to make too! It's called Roasted Tomato-Feta-Shrimp! Truly this was probably one of the best things I've ever made! My daughter, Lauren had the left-overs the next day and she thought it was amazing also! Next time I'm going to try it with scallops... that was Allen's idea! (Sorry the photo was taken from my iphone so its not very good). Even if you aren't a fan of feta cheese I think you would like it. Click here for the recipe
Another bouquet from my garden! |

That recipe looks so yummy. I just happen to have some scallops in the fridge. Maybe I'll skip the pan searing tonight and substitute the scallops for the shrimp. Thanks for the recipe and the party too!

I think we're skipping spring here in Georgia too - it was in the 80's too. Love your flowers - the roses are exquisite and so beautifully displayed in your weathered wooden basket - the recipe sounds fantastic - I am sharing a recipe I tweaked after seeing it on Facebook too! So appreciate you hosting,
