ReplyDeleteOld silver is a treasure at Linderhof as well -- and I'm green over your pieces. And I love monograms, names, inscriptions -- they USED to be cheaper, alas not always now!

Love your silver pieces you have been collecting! I just picked up a wooden silver storage case at the thrift store for a couple dollars. I have some silver myself (mostly in my hair now a days)!

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about silver, especially the monogramed pieces. I often wonder how many special occasion dinners, holiday dinners etc. these pieces served. Also, I always feel good about rescuing old silver and returning them to a place of honor.
