Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
Last week I went to Costco just to buy some groceries until I saw this gorgeous bougainvillea out in front of the store. I couldn't resist! Costco always seems to get me with something I want but don't really need!
Luckily I already had a pot to transplant it into.
I'm really loving the colors of this bougainvillea. They grow like weeds here in California but I've never grown one in a container before. I've also never seen one with pink and white flowers. The colors go from light to dark, almost like an umbre effect.
I seem to have a lot of pink flowers on my balcony. Here is another one...

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the party - have a lovely weekend
This is gorgeous Cindy ~ I love it. I can see that this new apartment is bringing back your muse. Oh and I love Costco too. I feel so lucky living here in the Crossroads because I can visit the Costco in Houston or San Antonio or Austin in about the same amount of driving time. Thanks for the party. You are getting your groove back. Can't wait to see what you do next.

You are definitely right ...that is the most unusually beautiful color of bougainvillea I've ever seen. I'm gonna keep an eye out for one. I have a table very similar to this one and have been itching to paint it. Think I will now ...thanks :)
