Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! I had something else planned to share with you but I decided to go hiking after work with a friend and when I came home the sun was setting and it was too late to take photos so I decided to share my addiction to dishes! My mom loved beautiful dishes and taught me to appreciate their beauty!
I tend to collect either blue and white dishes or dishes with pink roses...
The hand painted ones (above) are my favorites!
I love how you can mix and match them...
I also love my Thanksgiving turkey dishes...
I sold this hutch below a couple years ago and I'm sort of missing displaying my dishes in it...
I even love hanging dishes on the wall...
Thanks to all of you that join in on Show and Tell Friday every week and thanks to all of you who leave such nice comments!

My favorite are the pink and white dishes, so pretty. My mom collects blue and white. Thanks for hosting, Laura
ReplyDeleteI forgot mention, I'm having a ''thing'' with dishes lately too, never did before....is it a virus or something? LOL in the air? But these are so beautiful, I looked at the details and wonder the mind it takes to take a simple utilitarian utensil like a dish and make it into artwork....those were the days!
ReplyDeleteYour dishes are beautiful..I gave up my obsession when I moved..No room..
ReplyDeleteI love old china! It is my favourite :) I know I have inherited that from my Mum. She has a huge limoges dinner set with a pattern of pink roses. When I turned 25 she split her set in half and gave me a set of six. I love it so much! Thanks for sharing your beautiful images!
