ReplyDeleteI so understand your love for Carmel - it too, is one of the most favorite places of mine! I was fortunate enough to be there several years ago when the Mr. had a business trip in SF, CA. We made the coastal drive to Carmel and did not want to leave! The houses there are so fairy tale story perfect! Love it! Thanks for another look into Carmel!!

ReplyDeleteOh I would love, love, love to be an hour away from Carmel. I am clear across the country but hope to visit the West Coast sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about Carmel in years. Brings back memories. My aunt lived in a nearby community and when I was a child and we went for a visit, she would often take us to Carmel. I thought it was magical and still have warm memories. Would love to go back for a visit.

What a lovely place to live...your friend is a lucky girl!!
ReplyDeleteDear Cindy, This is sort of off topic for this post, but I tried to leave a comment on your hiking blog but could'nt. Love the blog. I've been reading 'MRH' for a couple of years now and love it so much, you have inspired me so much. Tonight tho I just had to stop and tell you how much I admire you for the woman that you are. Most of all I wanted to tell you what a wonderful mother you are. I can tell you make your two wonderful children feel so special and loved. They will carry this feeling with them all their lives. I don't think there is a better feeling than that. I know this is kind of mushy and all, but I just had to tell you. Hope you get to read this. Hugs, Joyce

Cindy, This is such a beautiful town! I do love California. It's so amazingly beautiful. We drove all the way up the coast on Hwy 1. We took our kids for a 30 day road trip and saw a lot of California along the way. The seals on a point at Ano Nuevo Bay. There was a park there with a natural bridge and just north of it was where they regularly see seals. I felt like I was in a Nat. Geographic movie.
ReplyDeleteNow I have a new place I'd like to visit. :o)

I live in Southern California, and I sure would like to live in the California they are advertising. Maybe they're running the ad because so many people are fleeing the state...?
