Half Moon Bay Part I

I've really been doing the staycation thing this summer. A week ago it was Monterey for the day and this past Saturday, Lauren, her friend and I went to Half Moon Bay for the day. It's only about a 45 minute drive from my apartment.
This was one of the few nice shops there. It's called Quintessence and it's located on Main Street in Half Moon Bay. They also have a shop in Menlo Park, California for those of you in Northern California.
I love French Country Decor! My problem is I like a lot of different styles of decorating! I want them all!

I LOVE this white mirror (above)!!! I didn't even notice it when I was in the store! Isn't it gorgeous!
Tomorrow I share some more pictures from my staycation trip to Half Moon Bay.

  6. Cindy, Thank you for sharing the great shopping in Half Moon Bay. I almost feel like I was there. How lucky to have such great shops. Our little town in western PA has a few "country" stores, but we don't have anything like you pictured. What fun it was to browse with you. Peggy from PA

  7. Oh, girl. Now you are hitting home! Born and raised in HMB as you may recall! Parents still there. When I go visit, one thing I do is walk from Pillar Point Harbor all the way to HMB along the coastline, have coffee on Main St. and then browse all these shops! Then my pops drives down and picks me up. Memories, memories!!!! Can't wait to see more pics!

  10. Cindy I love your pictures. So glad you got to go on a "staycation",...those can be fun,and less tiring.

I wanted to know if I can use your cute little "Please no blog awards" picture to post on my blog?

I get awards and then I don't have the time to post them and pass them on, cuz I am so unsavvy when it comes to tech stuff, that it takes me forever to try to do those. I do appreciate them and don't want to hurt anyone's feelings and I thought that was a cute way to not accept them.

    Thanks,...let me know.

  21. Another great store. I also like many styles of decor. Sometimes pulling it all together is a challenge. I've found rotating my
"stuff" works best and friends like it because there's always something interesting to look at.
