How sweet. I so miss ME Home Companion and it's been less than 6 months. I have a ton of the old issues and used those, calendars and cards some years ago to decorate my oldest daughter's chest and bedside table. It has been passed down to my youngest daughter now and eventually I will get it myself! Possibly this year or next if I can find another dresser she'll accept ;D

You, Cindy girl, have inspired me to begin collecting soup tureens. I found my first vintage one at the goodwill for $3.59...I told my husband if Cindy was here she would be doing the happy dance.I had to show him what the happy dance was and that every person had their own happy dance....we had people around us laughing.
My mother bought me a baby white soup tureen with its little ladle....it is so very adorable....I think it is old to....I was so happy with it. I never even knew or ever gave a soup tureen a thought...I wouldn't want to know the things I had the opportunity to get and just passed up.
