I would have never thought I would find something nice enough at The Dollar Tree store to display in my blue cabinet but I did!
Three of them in fact!
Can you believe these were only $1 each? I found them in the wedding section at the Dollar Tree. They had 3 different designs and I couldn't decide which one to buy so I bought them all!
It's actually a great find! well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy. No, I never would have guessed you bought those charming bells at a dollar store. They look so elegant and fit right in with your collection! I visit a dollar store with my sister from time to time and sure have not seen anything like these bells. Great find! ~Arleen
ReplyDeletehola soy de chile y estoy encantada con tu blog, hace unos días lo revisé completo, no aguante la tentación, todo lo que haces y muestras es inspirador, cariños.
ReplyDeleteGood eye! They look lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. I actually stumbled onto them when searching Flickr, then had to jump to your blog to get the details. Just love them. It's so great when you find such a deal.
ReplyDeleteI shop there too! They always have some cute stuff there especially for scrapbooking. I always seem to find little home knickknacks there. Great find! Maybe I'll see you there one day.
ReplyDeleteToodles.
They do look nice in your cabinet.I love your mosaic's yesterday-so beautiful!

It's amazing what you can find if you're willing to look in unexpected places. Dollar stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army...you never know what you'll find.
ReplyDeleteNever would know they were dollar store items! They fit right in with all the other things in your cabinet!
ReplyDeleteManuela
They look elegant on the silver tray. What a bargain.
ReplyDeleteYep, dollar store rocks.
ReplyDeleteCIao
will wonders never cease...
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteThey really are very pretty.
I find great stuff there all the time! A few weeks ago I found the prettiest shabby Chic style note cards, hang tags and note pads.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful...one reason they look so fabulous is that they are nestled in with all your other pretties. They wouldn't look nearly as good in MY hutch..
ReplyDeleteBetween you shopping at Dollar Tree and our sweet Gollum haunting Big Lots, I now have a healthy respect for these stores and pay more attention to their items...
Good post!!
P.S...I thought you might have your pretty little patio linked up at THE PORCH PARTY over at Rose Colored Glasses....it would be PERFECT !!
I know exactly what you mean Cindy! A couple of weeks ago I was at Dollarama and found there adorable cherubs, all children, and sitting in different positions next to a pillar. They were so sweet! I bought 3 too, lol
ReplyDeleteLove the bells. Beautiful!
I really like the bells. I check their wedding aisle out when I go, but have never seen anything that nice - will keep checking.
ReplyDeleteGotta love Dollar Tree!
ReplyDeleteLots more of us will be looking into Dollar Stores. I'm usually looking for something for school. Now I'll have to retrain the brain for pretties.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing great stuff that people are finding at the Dollar Tree I'm going to have to check it out before it's all gone, they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHugs~Kelly
Oh, I absolutely love them. They are just gorgeous. I just recently found a Dollar Tree store reasonably close to me and it is such a fun store. Your little bells are so pretty and perfect in your cabinet. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty! I look there all the time just incase! I have not seen these though! Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Lisa
The $1 Store does have some surprising finds! The bells look perfect in with the rest of your collection. If you don't tell, no one will ever know where you found them. Your seceret is safe with us! : O )
ReplyDeleteThanks as always for sharing.
Charla
I thought it was funny that Charla said "your secret is safe with us!" That was cute. ((smile))
ReplyDeleteNope,...it's too late now, you already let the cat out of the bag! Ha! We are all headed over to the Dollar Tree! ((wink))
I agree with everyone else, that nobody would have ever known they were only a dollar each,...because they are mixed in with your other treasures.
Thanks for the post. It was fun.

Our parents good buys came from Woolworth, made in Japan. Now we are buying Dollar Stores, made in China. Years from now China things will probably be the collectors items. The bells are very pretty! Good shopping.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Pat

ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog and I attached a link on mine...I hope you don't mind. Your blog is wonderful and I just wanted my friends to check it out. I love the Dollar store too! I'll shop anywhere, from Nordstrom's to the 99cent store

Oh I love me some $ Store finds. LOL My everyday white dishes 9and dishes I use as chargers many times in my tablescapes) are from the $ Store. On a non-decorating note, I also fill up with condiments and such while I am there. LOL Lovely, lovely bells. Nope - one would never know!
ReplyDeleteI think when you have a good eye you can find treasure anywhere!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty bells! I would've bought all three, too. You never know where you will find a treasure! Always keep your eyes open! Sincerely, Ann
ReplyDeleteso classy..
ReplyDeleteI got one of those bells about two weeks, ago. I didn't notice that the designs were different. I picked based on the sound of the bell.
ReplyDeleteThe bell matches a teapot I got at TJMax.

Cindy, those are gorgeous! It is amazing what you can find sometimes!! And they look great with the other beautiful things in your china cabinet. Hugs, ~cindy s~
ReplyDeleteWhen I go to the dollar store I am usually looking for children's arts and crafts stuff or gift bags. I had no idea there is a wedding section! Beautiful bells!
ReplyDeleteI recently discovered the joys of Dollar Tree, which is located in the same shopping strip as my local supermarket, AND a T.J. Maxx. How lucky am I? :-)
ReplyDeleteLove those little bells -- and it's amazing what you can find in dollar stores.

I think almost anything would look heqavenly in that hutch the way you have it done up...so wonderful. I am waiting for paint to dry here- literally- and perusing blogs for inspiration...yours is fabulous and your home looks so wonderful and cozy and inviting in a relaxing sophisticated sort of way...
ReplyDeleteI'm off to the dollar tree.
ReplyDeletethank you!
Wendy
I've actually been finding quite a few cute little things at the Dollar Tree. I'll have to be on the lookout for bells. My mom collects bells, and those are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow...at the Dollor Store. Nice. I aint going to lie, I have found some cute stuff there before. You never know what you can find....even when your not looking. Well I just love how your table looks now I would hate for you to change it. I actually voted for you to keep it white but now that I look at the pictures you posted, maybe it would look best with wood finish on top. It would make your cabinet fit in better. What ever you do Im sure its going to look beautiful, you are so gifted! I love what you did with the chairs. What did you do with the fabric you took off of the chairs? If you cant find a place for it, Ill take it:) Ok. Much love Cindy...
