I've made some changes to my coffee table. I've moved the crystal candlesticks from the dining room table to the coffee table. The chair in the background has been waiting forever for me to make a slipcover. I just have a coverlet on it to hide the hideous floral pattern. There's just so much to do and not enough time ( or money.) Now that Halloween and Thanksgiving are over, I've painted my miniature pumpkins white and sprinkled them with glitter. I wish glitter would photograph better...you just don't see the sparkle in the photos!
A silver tray with white candles and the crystal candlesticks make it all sparkle!

I just love the crystal candlesticks you have. They are so lovely. A very nice coffe table I think. And the earlier post is just adorable. Wish I had a stair that I could decorate too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good Tuesday.

I love it! Thanks for the post re: your coffee table. It inspired me! I have some glass/crystal candlesticks, a painted white tray with a glass top that I sprinkled Crate & Barrel silver stars on, and white sparkly (they look like snowdrifts) candles that I will put on mine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea with the glittered pumpkins! I've been looking at mine and wondering what i'm going to do with them! Thanks again for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteBy the way how's the chair coming?
I love how you converted your pumpkins. I'm sure they do sparkle.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.

I am playing catch up on all of my favorite blogs this week since I have been on vacation for about 2 weeks. I love your banister garland. Very very elegant!!
ReplyDeleteLove the coffee table decor. I have several crystal candelsticks on my coffee table. I used a gold framed mirror to put the candlesticks on. For Christmas I add some beaded garland around the candelsticks. And,, there's never enough time nor money....
ReplyDeleteOoohh, how pretty and sparkly! I love your candlesticks. I'm experimenting with some tea lights in pressed glass goblets. I saw it in a book on Christmas in Nantucket. Can't wait to see more of your decorations.

Oh Cindy, how elegant! Looks so lovely. I have a suggestion for making pretty tealite candle holders. I picked up some pretty crystal sugar bowls (flea mkts, garage sales, and even on e-bay). I got them cheap because there were no lids. You don't need the lid. Just put in a tealite candle and watch it sparkle! The light plays off the cut glass and just looks so pretty. One I picked up at a flea mkt for $3. It was beautiful cut glass with 2 handles. A nice touch for the dining table, as they are sugar bowls.
ReplyDeleteI love the crystal candlesticks--their sparkle is just lovely!
