This is a scarecrow that my dad made. I just love him! I think this weekend I'll buy a couple more pumpkins to put around him. I like to have some extra pumpkins to paint silver or gold after Thanksgiving and keep around through the Christmas Holiday.
Very cute!! Good idea about the pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteYou are always thinking.

Oh my what a great idea about painting the pumpkins silver or gold! I always feel bad when I have to get rid of the pumpkins for Christmas decorating. Painted pumpkins will look great on my little side porch...THANKS!! Your scarecrow is darling.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteFirst timer here...You know your September 27th blog with collage picture of autumn? Well, the middle pic is a "fairytale" pumpkin and I just bought two of them from an amish farm nearby! Never saw them in my life and now I own two and just saw them on your site. I'm still learning how to blog--hope you get this. Ann
Precious, darling, adorably cute scarecrow! I want one! Does he sell them? Cindy, I see where you get your creativity genes from. I am in awe of all the things your dad can make. No doubt staying busy keeps him young. God bless him (and your dear mom)!
