Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
If you've been reading my blog for awhile you know that my landlord has been promising me that she would put wood laminate floors in my apartment for the last few years! Well, it finally happened and I'm so excited! I've lived here almost 10 years and my carpet was so worn out and stained that I really lost interest in doing anything around my house! I didn't even like cleaning it because it never looked clean because the carpet was so bad! Last week the floors got installed and I feel inspired again! It's amazing the difference it made!
The floors inspired me so much that I went on Craigslist and bought that white slip-covered chair that matches my Ikea slip-covered sofa. The best part...it was only $50 and came with two sets of slip covers. I'll share more photos of it soon!
Here is panoramic photo that Lauren took on her iphone...

I'm just finishing up my Christmas decorating so I plan on taking some more photos on the weekend when I have some natural light. When I go to work the sun is just coming up and it's already dark by the time I get home so I have to wait until the weekend!

Your place looks fantastic, Cindy! So happy for you :-) We just got a little place in the Gold country and are doing the exact same thing, ripping out the awful carpet and installing wood laminate floors. I've also been inspired by you and have decided to do the house in a shabby chic cottage style and have already painted everything white! Will be looking back at more of your pics for future inspiration. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI too neglected my garden last year, but plan to plant lots of flowers this year. Every thing grows with love, I reckon my garden was hated in 2012!!!!
