Let's do a "Year in Review" Party!

I put this mosaic together of some of my old photos and I realized that this should be titled "My Romantic Home ~ A Year in Review" because these photos were all taken over the last year for my blog. That made me think that it would be great to see other blogger's favorite photos for 2008 so I decided to host a  "Year in Review" party. Do you want to join in? How about Monday, December 29th? You can either do a mosaic like mine or just share some of your favorite photos you've posted on your blog in 2008. I used Big Huge Labs Mosaic Maker for mine. Click here if you want to make one.   I made the little graphic below...feel free to grab it and put it on your blog if you want.  I'm going to try to get the Mr. Linky set up on my blog for this so look for more info coming soon if you want to join in!
Maybe I'll even make this an annual event!

  17. Hi Cindy,

I've enjoyed looking at your pictures and just recently started checking out your blog daily. I now can't wait to see what you'd done next. You are so talented and your apt is beautiful! Please tell me where you got your three tiered "thingie" (I can't think of a better term) - I want one just like it - I actually want you to come and do my house! Thank you for the pictures that touch my heart! Wishing you the very best Christmas and New Year!

    ReplyDelete
  18. TerTerH78: Thanks, the tiered stand came from a cute shop in Disneyland in the early 1960s. My mom bought it and passed it down to me a couple years ago. I love it! I've had people email me and want to buy it but I'll never sell it. It's very sentimental to me.

  19. Sounds like fun! It would make me try the mosaic - I'll see how it goes. Great idea. Sally

  20. Cindy, your photos are beautiful! I think your blue armoire is my favorite piece of furniture that you've redone.

You need to post a new picture of your mirrors going up your stairway.
It looks like you're finally finished with them.

  36. How nice!! Good idea..since I have done a lot of mosaics in my blog I would like to join the party!! But...I am a bit stupid and I don't know whether you want us all to make it in our own blog or that you want us to send a mosaic from our blog...I am from The Netherlands..and hope to hear the answer....kind regards, sylvia extra from Villa Extra.

  37. Villa Extra: You would put it on your blog and I would put a link to it on mine so everyone could come and visit your blog to see it. (I hope that makes sense?)
