The leaves are changing color and falling but my flowers are still blooming! Soon it will be too cold for the impatiens and I will replace them with pansies and violas which grow here in the winter.
The HGTV Rate my Space episode I was on is going to be rerun tomorrow (for the last time), Saturday, November 8th at 5:30 PM (but check your listing because it may be on at a different time, the episode name is "A Romantic Cabana with an Island Vibe").
Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Cindy,
ReplyDeleteAs usual such a pretty picture and I love the pink. Your garden is sooo lovely. It must be so relaxing to come home after a long day to such beautiful surroundings. You really posted early today. Hope you have a great weekend.

You sure live in a lovely place that are able to have flowers out at this time of the year. Here it was freezing cold earlier this week and my flowers froze!! Not much to do about it when you are too lazy to get them inside LOL.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice and energetic weekend.
Love Elzie
So lucky, I have one plant blooming, not sure what it is! Yours are always so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour garden is lovely! It must be wonderful to have a garden all year round.
Enjoy your weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
I finally got to see the episode the last time it was on. So exciting to see you and your cottage in living color! You did a fantastic job and should be so proud.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of the garden. We have already slipped into very cold weather and even snow. I am already longing for flowers. Sigh.
Another great example of the
ReplyDeletebeauty you create and share with
others. Impatiens are my favorite.
Have a fabulous weekend. Mimi
Oh I love when we can plant the winter flowers. They are so pretty and colorful.
ReplyDeleteThey will be darling in your garden.
Hugs,
Joanne
Lucky you!! Still having a blooming garden! My garden's been done for a couple of weeks already! And nothing grows HERE in Michigan in winter...except icicles!!!
ReplyDeleteI just completed a painting project...if you have a second, stop by and take a peek at my Show & Tell post.
~Blessings,
Jan
We too are blooming here. I love it. It's like finding little surprises. Pretty blooms that make me smile.
ReplyDeleteWendy
Do you add Miracle Grow when you water ?
ReplyDeleteMy roses are not blooming anymore, nor is anything else. So I guess that's it for me, except the christmas cactus that will bloom soon.
You have a great weekend as well.

Flowers blooming now? We had rain, hail, and snow today. No flowers here in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteOh your impatiens are just lovely. I can't wait to see the pansies--one of my very favorite flowers!
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely your flower are. I have more of a brown thumb myself. I can just imagine the wonderful fragrances you must enjoy. Have a nice weekend.

Oh what a nice garden image very colorful. I'm just starting to build/make mine.
ReplyDeleteOh you are so lucky to still have such lovely flowers. Mine are nearly all gone and will soon be covered in a blanket of snow. Spring comes late and fall comes early and winter lasts a long time so we have a short time to enjoy our flowers. We have to get enjoyment from looking at these beauties in the gardens of people like you.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are just beautiful.
And your shelf is amazing.I like the colour.
Have a nice weekend!!!
Regina
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteLove your garden (especially the burro's tail, that is my all time favorite passed on by a dear friend). I would love, love, love to visit you one of these times I'm in Los Gatos/Santa Cruz ~ Your house/garden is amazing.
That's great they're replaying your episode, can you believe it - I still have my episode stored on Tivo?
Have a wonderful weekend sweets!

I am enjoying your pretty blog this afternoon. In Georgia, we still have some late roses blooming and they still are just as fragrant as ever. I love the photo of the shelf that your dad made. I'll be back to visit soon.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Looked out the window this morning, at what is left of my impatients. Pretty sad looking. I think it is suppose to be in the 30's tonight, so that will do them in for sure.
ReplyDeleteGlenda/MidSouth
I see your donkey plant in the background I see it is growing fast.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,

I'm glad to have some azaleas growing in our yard right now. Our fall color is gorgeous; I hope the leaves will hang on for a few more weeks!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! we have nothing but autumn leaves and berries here, and they will be gone soon. :(
