This with a hot cup of coffee was such a wonderful weekend breakfast treat! I used a Martha Stewart recipe and it can be found here.
And don't forget to vote today if you haven't already! (I ask that you please not leave any comments about which candidate you voted for in my comments because I will delete them. My blog is not a political blog and I believe in keeping it bipartisan here.)
Mmmmmmm! Looks delish! I voted 2 weeks ago as we have early voting here in Texas.

Your monkeybread looks so yummy! I haven't had that in years. I will have to bake some for me and my boys. I bet it makes the whole house smell good. Come visit sometimes.
ReplyDeleteIt's a rainy day here. I would love to have your monkey bread and some coffee right now.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks DELICIOUS!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Mary
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI am just in the middle of baking bread and I came in for a peek at your post.I should have checked here first! That looks so good.
Take care,
Carolyn
I love Monkey Bread!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy:
ReplyDeleteI've never had monkey bread, but the smell of homemade bread and cinnamon filling up the house is worth getting up early for!!!
Ginger
Yes, I will definitely vote. You are right not to allow anyone to voice their political opinion on YOUR blog. There's enough of this nonsense in the media. Now, back to decorating ... you are the best. Joanne
ReplyDeleteOh no.....now I'm going to be craving Monkey Bread! It is so good and you are right the smell is just like heaven.
ReplyDeleteThat's it, I'm going to make some right now.
Hugs,
Joanne
Yum, it's making my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteCiao
What election? I forgot about it when I saw that monkey bread--yum yum! I love visiting your blog:)
ReplyDeleteMiss Janice
I hate to wish time away, but . . . I can't wait until today is OVER!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made monkey bread in a long, long time. I think that's a great idea for this Saturday! Thanks for a good idea . . . again!
Yummy! I love monkey bread, but I love it the way mom makes it... maybe it is like your recipe but I didn't look to see!
ReplyDeleteLooks very tasty! I voted! I went at a midday hour and still waited an hour to vote. That is amazing for our county! I think people are actually wanting to be counted today!
ReplyDeletemy daughter loves Monkey Bread. I'm definitely going to make some this weekend - thanks!
ReplyDeleteI voted here in Illinois. A really quick in and out.
I think this is the best looking monkey bread I've ever seen. Thanks for the link to the recipe. This weekend I'm going to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteYummmy!!!! Makes my mouth water. I voted earlier today, rather painless task here luckily. Gotta love this wonderful country where we can vote, write blogs, and envy others Monkey Bread!
ReplyDeleteThat monkey bread reminds me of a huge cinnamon roll ~ my favorite! I'm going to check out the recipe right now!! I'm really excited about the huge voter turnout today!
ReplyDeleteKarin
Wow, what a good looking monkey bread. I can smell it all the way out here on the East Coast!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe.
Monkey Bread! Never heard of it! But I gather it is almost the same as cinnamon buns?
ReplyDeleteI ‘ll have to try it after looking at this picture…lol! Thanks for sharing.
p.s. Luv all of the transformations and I also started collecting perfume bottles, my favorite being "Joy" my mom's fav and now mine.
YUMMO!!! making my taste buds water!! Ive also given you an award pop over when you have a moment to see it!!

Looks yummy Cindy. I think I can actually smell it from here :o)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of it either, but it looks scrumptious!!! I'm usually afraid of yeast, but I've gotta give this a try! Okay, confession time: I'm such a horrible cook that I make pop'n dough cinnamon rolls placed in the shape of a Christmas Tree on a cookie sheet for Christmas morning, but maybe, just maybe this year will start a new tradition!!! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteMy brother used to just love monkey bread! Maybe I should make some for him for Christmas. I've never tried to make it before! I'll have to check out the recipe.
ReplyDeleteAnd THANK YOU for not allowing any political arguments on your blog. That's why I am moderating my comments for the first time, and although I have said who I am NOT voting for, I've tried to remain as non-partisan in my posts as possible. There are some blogs that I love, but that I cannot even read today because they are so politically biased, and kind of mean!
Kady
I could use some of this tonight!
ReplyDeleteMichelle :)
That sounds like the perfect way to start off next weekend! With the weather finally cooling down, a house scented with cinnamon is just about right. ::Jill
ReplyDeleteThat looks so delicious! I love that you take the time to put it on a beautiful plate and make everything a special occasion. And thank you so much for the non-partisan commenting. I voted but I am so sick of politics that I just turned off the TV and I'm going to climb into bed with a ginormous cup of hot chocolate and a good book. Hubby is in Japan so he won't mind.
ReplyDeleteI love monkey bread- I had actually forgotten about this recipe and will have to dig in my files. We had a surprise guest last night and I pulled out another old recipe- Hummingbird cake- oh is it yummy!
ReplyDeleteblessings to you!
mary:)
Hi cindy
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Monkey Bread but it looks good, I am going to have a go at that, sounds nice with a nice coffee on a weekend morning
Sarah
Good Morning Cindy! Your bread looks wonderful!! I cheat when I make the Monkey bread... I use canned biscuits and put cream cheese inside of each bite...so mine is really Gorilla bread. I got the recipe from Paula Deen.It is really good! It was actually one of the first to go at the cake walk at the fall festival at our church! God Bless you!!
ReplyDeleteHola Cindy,de vista es Super, espero que de gusto mejor, imprimire la receta,me gusta el aroma de los dulces en casa.Gracias por la receta.
ReplyDeleteAnother recipe I will have to try! I love monkey bread! Thanks for reminding me!
ReplyDeleteMy kids used to love to make a simplified version of this by using refrigerator biscuits. Little pieces of biscuit were pinched off, rolled in sugar & cinnamon and put in a bundt pan. Then melted butter was poured over the top. A little easier for little people, but this one looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog.
Susan
