Hi all! Wow, I can't believe it's been 3 years since I posted anything here! I'm still living in California and still working for the same company. My daughter flew the nest a couple years ago so I decided to move and rather than be in a small one bedroom apartment I rented a house with a friend and his friend. Yes, we are sort of like Three's Company! haha! We found a beautiful 4 bedroom home and have been here almost 2 years already! I have the master bedroom, living room and dining room for my furniture! Luckily we have a family room which is their "man cave".
I thought I would share pictures of my dining room since it's my favorite part of the house. It's been awhile since I've had a big dining room so I'm really enjoying it!
I just recently found the wine bar on the left at a shop here called "Not too Shabby". It was originally black and I painted it. That little table on the right I found at the Goodwill about a month ago for only $13. I also painted that.
A few weeks ago when I set the table with the cabbage dishes I got inspired and made some carrot cake cupcakes.
I hope all my friends have been safe and healthy through this crazy year! I just received the J&J vaccine last week so I'm feeling really hopeful about getting out and doing more fun things in the near future!
I'll try to check in more often that every 3 years! One of my housemates just bought a home in the Nashville area so I'm hoping we can find a new roommate soon or I will be looking for a new place to live. A 4 bedroom home in Silicon Valley is rather pricey so it wouldn't make sense for just two of us to live here. Fingers crossed that we find a person soon! I love this home. It's a beautiful neighborhood and I've been so happy here!
Since I haven't been updating my blog for years I know there will be glitches with broken links, etc. so I apologize! I just don't have the time to spend on it like I used to.
Until next time, take care!
Oh so nice that you're back at the lovely blog.
