Happy New Year and welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
I thought I would share my master bathroom this week. This is actually a first for me! I've been blogging almost 10 years (since June 2005) but I've never once showed my master bathroom in any of the three apartments that I've lived in since starting my blog.
The reason is because old apartment bathrooms are not very glamorous and I have a hard time making them look even half way decent!
All my apartment bathrooms have been very vanilla white and boring but I decided rather than add color to just go with the white theme. You know I love white!
I've had this apothecary jar for years and I decided to put it in my bathroom and fill it with soap bars. I love Yardley Old English Lavender soap and I get it at the dollar store (Dollar Tree) for only a $1 a bar. I love the scent! My mom loved this soap so it reminds me of her.
Storage is always short in my apartment so I keep some extra towels and rolls of toilet paper in the basket.
I have white fluffy rug on the floor. I love white rugs. I have to wash it every week but it's worth it. It's hard to tell from this photo but it's a plush shag rug.
You may remember years ago I shared my downstairs bathroom at my old apartment. I loved that little powder room. The blue paint made a huge difference. It's amazing how similar the before photo of that bathroom looks like this one. I guess beige bathrooms look pretty similar! Unfortunately I can't paint the bathroom in this apartment but I wish I could!
Here's to a wonderful 2015 for all of us!!!

Very pretty, sometimes plain white is nice, you can do so much with it. Change the towels and the shower curtain and it is a whole new look. The white in your room is nice just as it is.
Hi Cindy, Your bathroom reminds me of a bathroom in a fancy hotel! I love the white and that white rug but with my kids and hubby it wouldn't stay white very long, needless to say. :)
Your bathroom at your other place was so very cute, I liked the sink skirt.
Happy New Year to you and thanks for hosting!
