Sometimes it's the little things that you don't normally do everyday that can make you happy! I don't remember the last time I had hot cocoa with whipped cream on it but for some reason last Saturday morning I just had a craving for it! Occasionally at work I will have the instant hot chocolate in the packets that you add hot water to but I much prefer to make it with unsweetened cocoa and add my own sugar and real milk and real vanilla! I also sprinkle some cinnamon in the dry mixture before I stir int he milk! It's so yummy!
I'm usually a coffee drinker but it's been so cold here I think that must be the reason I had a craving for hot cocoa! I hope you are all staying warm!
That sounds and looks delicious! Love the tree in the background.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done that but I have been making decaf cappuccinos at night. Same goodies...milk, sugar, vanilla!
ReplyDeleteLast time I drunk a hot chocolate was in Venice Piazza San Marco in Caffe Florian ! the best one in the world ! Thank you Cindy to remind me that sweet moment ! Your mug is dreamy
