Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
I know almost everyone that visits my blog is into Shabby Chic style but this week I'm sharing my boyfriend's second home in Hawaii which is not Shabby Chic but it's an amazingly beautiful place that I think anyone could appreciate! I've been here twice since March and I've shared some of it previously but today I thought I would share some more of it.
It's a townhouse on a golf course and this is the pool area right next to the ocean!
So beautiful! I wish I were there right now!
Warm tropical breezes...I can almost feel them looking at these photos!
There are beautiful flowers everywhere!
That building on the left is the workout room. We hit the treadmills and look out on the ocean. When we were there in March we saw so many whales but when we went back in May they were all gone. I really wish I could always run on the treadmill overlooking the ocean but when I go to my gym at home it just overlooks the parking lot!
This is Allen's living room. It's very tropical. All his furnishings are Tommy Bahama.
This is the backyard area.
This is the master bedroom (part of it anyway). I really need to get a wide-angle lens for my camera so I can get full shots!
This is the lanai off the master bedroom. You can see the ocean off in the distance. There is also another one off the dining room downstairs but I didn't get a photo of that one this time. It has a patio table and chairs and we eat breakfast out there every morning.
This is the seating area on the lanai off the master bedroom. The chairs are facing the ocean. You can see beautiful sunsets from here!
Here is the master bathroom with a walk-in closet.
and a huge deep bathtub.
Allen's office is downstairs just off the entry way. Yes, he does work a little when we are in Hawaii but just a few hours in the morning.
This is the guest bedroom upstairs. I love this four-poster bed!
This is from the top of the stairs looking down on the living room.
The coffee table in the living room. I love this table!
More of the living room. We don't watch TV when we are here though. I think we only watched one movie in the two weeks we were here this year and that's it!
This is the view from the living room looking towards the kitchen.
The dining room. We usually eat outside though.
A table in the living room with a pineapple lamp.
The kitchen.
This is the opposite view of the backyard area looking towards the mountains. The ocean is behind me in this photo.
The flowers in Hawaii are just amazing....
These plumeria smell amazing!
Hibiscus are blooming everywhere!
I hope you enjoyed the little tour of Allen's home in Hawaii! I can't wait to go back but I've used most of my vacation time for the year already!

Wow Cindy -- what gorgeous photos you took of an amazing place.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to be able to escape to paradise!
Thanks for sharing ... it's pouring rain here and that bit of gorgeous Pacific sunshine cheered me up no end.
:-)
Cass
Now that is paradise!
ReplyDeleteHold the turnip truck. I just cleaned my skeptical spectacles and something just doesn't jiggle here. The man can decorate but he's not gay? And that place is too clean, too shiny, too perfect. It looks like an island rental retreat. I know old people don't have the eyesight or energy to clean like that and when on vacation, who wants to? Ask to see the mortgage papers while I ask to see his other home.
ReplyDeleteI knew it! My cards are never wrong' Bottom lleft photos show the same vacation retreat. Same kitchen. Same light fixtures. You better warn your friends about his time share. http://www.reservehawaii.com/dh/halii-kai-waikoloa-resort-hawaii
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home your BF has Cindy! I'm so happy for you, having the opportunity to go there twice! HGTV has a show on called Hawaii Life, it's like House Hunters but all Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful isn't it and so artfully decorated for a man. I just took my meds.
ReplyDeleteThe link you pasted Oldcronewackywitch is the same resort where he OWNS his townhouse. Some people bought them to rent out but he doesn't rent his. He had it professionally decorated and he does clean his own place. I've witnessed it with my own eyes. Both his home in Hawaii and his home here are always clean and I know for a fact he's not gay. lol I really don't care if you believe it or not because I know the truth.
ReplyDelete....and proof that it's not just a rental place here are some real estate listings for that complex! http://www.konalistings.com/hawaii-resorts/waikoloa-beach-resort/Halii-Kai.html
ReplyDeleteViagra Is no respecter of persons because it just works. I sent you a friends request on Facebook.

Pursuit Of Functional Home.
Wow, what a beautiful, beautiful home! I've been to the islands of Hawaii only once (I'm from the Netherlands, so the journey takes quite some time), but I want to go back ever since. I really LOVE the islands!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this awesome pictures!
