Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
I don't have anything "home" related to share today so I'll share a little story about my trip to Tahoe last weekend. Two of my girlfriends and I took off Friday for a 3-day weekend and we had so much fun!
Saturday we decided to go for a hike. We drove from the hotel to the trailhead, parked the car and went out for a hike. We came to a creek with logs across it that we had to cross. I was the first one to go across and I stepped on the first log and it rolled and I fell in the water on my back! Luckily I was fine and my friends made it across without falling! We hiked a couple hours (me soaking wet and muddy) and then decided to come back down the mountain. We must have missed a turn because we all realized we were no longer on the trail we came up! Luckily we could see the lake and the casinos so we just headed in that direction. We finally made it down but had to take a cab back to where we parked our car!
We also met a couple nice guys that were big gamblers (mega high rollers). We ended up hanging out with them and they were putting $100 bills in our slot machines! One of them taught me how to play roulette and I had a stack of his chips in front of me which were dwindling down fast! I couldn't stand to be losing hundreds of dollars within minutes, even if it wasn't my money. I had to walk away! I'll never make it as a gambler but I think that's a good thing! He ended winning a lot the next day so at least I didn't feel too guilty about losing so much of his money!
We plan to go back as soon as the ski season starts which hopefully will be soon! I haven't skied since I've had my first child and he's almost 26! Should be another fun adventure!
I should be getting my new wood laminate floors sometime in the next few weeks so hopefully I'll feel more inspired about decorating again! I'm hoping to get them just in time for Christmas decorating!! Yay!

I had and adventure like that in France with a friend in a forest near PARIS, she was with her two children and they were going here and there. I was so anxious to be lost that I think my subconscious had noted every thing. After a while she thought that we were lost ! No no did I say, and we came back just in front of our car in a parking of several hundreds ones.
ReplyDeleteSorry for my English I'm French and I have a lot to do to improve my English.
thank you so much for hosting and to allow us to share.
