Show and Tell Friday!

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  It's time for me and my daughter to have a weekend away!  We are headed to Southern California on Friday morning for a 3-day weekend get away!  I've been singing "we're leaving on a jet plane..." all day today. (sorry, some of you may be too young to know that song!)

I wanted share these adorable luggage tags I bought at the car wash!  We have car washes around here with gift shops in them!  I had to buy these, they were just too adorable to pass up!  Lauren has the cute pink luggage and I have the boring luggage but my sparkly gold tag sure makes it look a lot nicer!

The best part is that we will easily be able to spot our luggage when it comes off the conveyer belt at the airport!

I hate flying but luckily it's only a one hour flight down there!  We have a house sitter that's going to stay here and take care of Beau. I'm sure he is really going to miss us!

For those of you that are "Real Housewives" fans. We're going to Lisa Vanderpump's Beverly Hills Restaurant "Villa Blanca" for lunch on Saturday!  I can't wait!

I'll share some photos when I get back!

Hi, Cindy; have a wonderful trip. Your luggage is so fashionable. I love your daughter's Barbie-pink case. (I caved to something similar on a whim, when Target had the Mizrahi line some years back; he'd mix black and white with the hot pink; FUN!) I hope the airport doesn't crush everything, especially those cute tags. (I'm like you; it was different when I was younger, but I don't like to fly anymore now that I'm a little, or a lot, older! I don't know what it is, exactly; do we just get more careful as we age?) Wow, lucky you have a housesitter; it's the only way to go when you have a pet. I have four, and it makes it so hard to go anywhere; I've never found the right person to be in my house and care for the pets...and boarding is simply not an option for my peculiarly sensitive animals. Get ready for hot and humid weather down here in SoCal; downright swampy, like a good day in Houston/Gulf Coast. What is UP with the humidity? Yuck. It makes it feel ten degrees hotter than it already is! I'm just north of L.A., fairly near the beach, and we were in the low 90s today. A neighboring town in our county broke a heat record yesterday.

Thanks for another link party! I am trying to avoid drinking soda during this super hot spell. I have come up with a Fresh Lime "Gritzer" that is low calorie and quenches the thirst (# 195 ). Have a great week!

I had a feeling that you were talking about the Classic Car Wash, where you bought your luggage tags so I went searching to find that you live close by...I'm in Willow Glen! I don't mind getting my car washed when I can go shopping for fun, girly things...and their prices are so reasonable! I found a link to your site from another blogger...glad to be here! Have a great weekend with your daughter:)!
