Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
This week I'm sharing my lilacs from last year! I'm so bummed, this year I only got 4 small sprigs of blooms on my bush! The worst year ever since I planted my lilac bush many years ago!
In previous years I got 2 full bouquets about the size of these!!!
I sure hope next year is better!
The good news is that is looks like it's going to be a great year for my Eden Roses! The vine is covered with buds and I can see a little pink starting to show through on some of the tight green buds so it shouldn't be too much longer before they are in full bloom!

Wow BEAUTIFUL lilacs!!! Just gorgeous! I certainly do wish we could have them here in Texas and they would be that lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting each week!
Blessings, Doni
They are still pretty. Maybe your roses will more than make up for the small amount of lilacs. My lilacs have not bloomed yet, so I don't know what to expect. Thanks for hosting Cindy!

Hello Cindy, Lilacs are one of the most beautiful and fragrant flowers. I miss them - we had a bush in Ohio and they don't seem to like the weather here in Georgia. So sorry - I hope next year will be better - the pictures are wonderful! Thank you for being a gracious hostess,
ReplyDeleteKathy
Thanks for hosting Cindy! Yours is one of my favorite parties!

Love your party which week

How beautiful, Cindy. We are just startingto green up here so nothing is blooming yet. Lilacs are my favorite flower. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteCindy, I need to try to grow lilacs here. I've never tried. The bouquets are gorgeous. Hope they begin to produce again.
ReplyDeleteI planted a lilac hedge along the back of my property last summer, just little cuttings but they're growing really well!!

I can almost smell the lilacs just looking at your pictures. I didn't have very many blooms last year either. I'm hoping to get more this year. We'll see ... my bush is about ready to burst into bloom. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThose lilacs were so beautiful! I can't believe your roses are almost ready to bloom, we are only up to daffodils here. Thanks for hosting, again this week. Laura
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilacs, thanks so much for hosting!
ReplyDeletethanks for hosting! Little Bit
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you have the pictures as a remembrance to hold you over. My eyes lite up a little when I saw that first photo. So pretty! It is storming and blowing out here on the Oregon Coast... I feel like Spring will never arrive.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Cindy. I always get so much inspiration from your Show and Tell Friday!
ReplyDeleteLove the lilacs. It is early here in Portland but I always look forward to a few days of the delightful scent in the house!
Hi Cindy! Thanks so much for hosting this lovely party. Those lilacs are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lilacs!!! I;m all linked up this week- I shared my focal B&W photos and my wee little ;) birdhouse~thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! Your pictures are GORGEOUS! I love the purple and white! I wouldn't worry too much about your lilacs. Did you prune them late last year? That will make them flower less the next year. BUT next year you will really be rewarded.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the peek inside your beautiful home...
Have a wonderful weekend,
Hugs,
Donna
I love seeing the lilacs. My bushes have the beginnings of leaves. Thanks for hosting.

As always thank you for the spectacular party!!!! Your love and efforts are so greatly appreciated! Can't tell you how much! Then the Lilacs...even though they were not plentiful for you this year...they are GORGEOUS!!!!!! i love to look at them because I am terribly allergic -- but looking at your amazing display makes my heart happy!!! Hope the mountain biking is going fabulously! hugs...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilacs! I am your newest follower and a new poster for Show and Tell Friday.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you for hosting. I can't wait to visit all of the linkups! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! Happy Friday! Sorry that your Lilacs weren't as fruitful as in past years. I think the weird Winter we all had has made for a bit of a lackluster Spring for most of us. It'll be a few weeks before we'll know how it affected us here, but I'm sure it will be pretty much the same. (The lilacs from last year were stunning, though!)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting another week of Show and Tell Friday! Hope you have an awesome weekend! ~ Mary
I only have 3 bushes, but my two best producers have very few buds. My newest, and smallest is loaded, but cutting any will prune the tree back! Hoping I can find some road 'hedges' I can help myself too ;)
ReplyDeleteJulie
Lovely shade of lavender!
ReplyDeleteYour lilacs just take my breath away... i would love to have a lilac bush, but apparently they don't do well in North Carolina... Wonder why there are less blooms this year?? I had the same deal last year with a couple of plants, hardly any blooms, and this year they're loaded with flowers... who knows!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Loving all the wonderful Easter projects! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeletexo Lynda
Your purple lilacs are awesome. I need to go and find me some starts to get planted. I also love the white that you photographed against
ReplyDeleteCindy, Wish I had some lilacs to bloom. I enjoy them when I go to the flower market though. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. I am waiting for my lilacs to bloom. Yours were beautiful last year. I can't wait to see your roses! I hope life is treating you well.

ReplyDeleteWow! Your lilacs are gorgeous! I can almost smell them! My grandma used to grow lilacs, so they always make me think of her. Thanks so much for hosting!

Beautiful lilacs! You have displayed them beautifully too.Our little bush is just starting to grow. We had a few cuttings last year. Crossing my fingers the snow expected tomorrow will not hurt the new blooms. Sorry I'm a bit late to the party. But I am so happy to participate xo
ReplyDeleteCindy your lilacs are beautiful, I don't care if they are from last year. Sorry you didn't get as many this year. Everything is different this year because of the crazy weather. I love seeing your pictures, they are always beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
