Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! I'm so excited...my lilacs have started blooming! I can tell already though that this is not going to be a good year for them. I don't have nearly as many buds as I've had in previous years! I think it's because it didn't get very cold this winter and we didn't have much rain.
This is all that's blooming now but hopefully soon there will be many more!
I also noticed that my Eden rose has buds on it already! That makes me really happy! I can hardly wait to have big bouquets of those!
I just had my 6th day at my new job and it's still going very well! I'm so happy to be working again! My daughter just got a new job too! She goes to college in the morning and works at a bakery in the afternoon! I told her that I forbid her to bring home any baked goods! Haha! We don't need those extra calories!

ReplyDeleteWow... Lilacs! We are not out of the woods yet on winter, but those are beautiful! Glad you like your job!
ReplyDeleteI love the buttery-warm and cozy light diffused through the lilacs; really nice layout. It's one of my favorite color combinations, a muted but pleasing variation of a more vibrant glitter-gold and purple.
ReplyDeleteVery happy you and your daughter have new jobs; uplifting for you and a great start still early in the year. In actuality, you got re-employed very quickly, which is nice to know can still happen to good people in this troubled economy/job market.
Congratz to you both...a sigh and relief with a capital "R."
It's Friday!!!! I have a post with several Household Green Cleaning recipes that I'm sharing today. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for hosting the party once again. Have a great day!
