Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! I have nothing new to share this week because once again I ran out of time! I feel like I have less time now that I'm not working than I did when I was working 40 hours a week! I don't know how that could be!
I have been out enjoying this beautiful weather we have been having. I think it was 70 degrees today! I've been going for daily hikes and enjoying going out to lunch with my daughter. I'm finally getting use to not working...it took about a month to get in the groove of it!
I'm still looking for a job and luckily I've been getting some interviews! I'm just going to continue to enjoy this little "vacation" that I have for now and hopefully the right job will come along soon! I'm afraid if I stress out too much I'll look back at this time I have off and wish I would have enjoyed it more! The worrying will not do any good and I'm doing everything I can to find a job and I have to just stay positive about it! Luckily there are a lot of job openings that I apply for each day! I've applied to over 100 positions! I actually keep a spreadsheet of all the jobs I've applied for!
This week I'm sharing a mosaic I did awhile ago. Things are starting to bloom around here a little early because the weather has been so warm. I have a daffodil in my backyard that is about to bloom and I can see buds on my lilac bush! Spring is just around the corner! I can hardly wait to have my roses blooming again but until then I can look at my old photos, like the one above!
I also want to take this time to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to boyfriend Dan! Sunday is his birthday! Happy Birthday Babe! The last 9 months since I've met you have been so wonderful! You light up my life!
If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful photos of your home, even if I have seen them before, I can always spot something I haven't noticed.

Cindy... I always enjoy beautiful photos of your roses... thanks for re-sharing them with us today...
ReplyDeletethe job hunt... ugh! I was in your same position about 9-years ago... and was "between jobs" from June 1st to October 15th... It seemed like a long time... I decided it was a "job" looking for a job! Looks like you're doing the same... keep sending out those resumes... some smart hiring manager will realize a jewel has just landed in his office and sweep you up before you have a chance to get away!
blessings. Dixie
ps... Happy Birthday Dan...aka "Babe"... (wink-wink)

Hi Cindy, this is my first time linking and joining in as I couldn't figure it out! lol Thanks for having this event, I've found so many interesting blogs and I so love your style and design. By the way, I knew your collage was reminding me of something so I went and checked my china hutch! Yep, low and behold, I have tea cups and saucer in the blue/white set you have in the middle pic of your collage. They are the only pieces I have, found at thrift, but I just loved the pattern. I'll post a pic later this afternoon.

Hey! Question! Is there a way I can delete one of my post links? I don't like the way the thumbnail looks and wanted to try a different image. I don't see where I can delete it, so I can re-post it. Is this possible??

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! I featured you in my newest topic, "When You Can't Paint the White Walls"! It's about learning to decorate around white walls. I truly believe you have the best examples of painted furniture I've ever seen which is another good way to bring color in a room. I placed a link in the post leading to your blog but did not use your photos. Thanks again for your inspiring blog.

ReplyDeleteSorry- you are lost your job. Finding a new one is very time consuming. Good luck and best wishes...& remember sometimes the blessing is not getting the job you really wanted- you will be available for something (unexpected)& better.
You should rename this blog, "Show and Tell Fridays".

ReplyDeleteYour flower mosaic is absolutely remarkable, so stunning, gorgeous, uplifting, a feast for the eyes.... I think it should be a desk calendar so that we can all have an opportunity to purchase and enjoy it every day of the year. Forget the job and start printing your photos! Lol Etsy here we come...
Hugs,
