Life over 50!

I have to say that turning 50 has been a really good thing for me! I'm so much happier now...I've lost weight (still 25lbs more lbs to go though) and I have a wonderful man in my life (he took this photo above). Life is good!

I find it so wonderful to see so many women in their fifties looking fabulous. It's so inspiring!  Which is the reason I started my new Fit and Fabulous Over Fifty blog!

Today, I'm so honored that another fabulous 50-something blogger (one of the few bloggers I've actually met in person), Tracey from Notes from a Cottage Industry, has interviewed me on her blog!  I still remember when I first found Tracey's blog...years and years ago! I went back and read every single post! Her writing is so captivating!  I sure wish she lived closer...I know we would be such good friends!
So, stop by Tracey's blog to read more about two over-50 single gals trying to look good at our age!  ...and be prepared to be captivated by her writing!

  8. You're looking good, Cindy! I'm 50, as well, and have finally been able to lose some weight. I'm down 16 lbs so far and working on getting to 20, then 25lbs or 30! This year is definitely a new starting point in my life as my girls are 18 and 19. So glad you are loving your life!

  11. Congratulations on your new fabulous life over 50. You look beautiful and I'm glad life is being so good to you. Enjoy and live every moment to it's fullest. I was fortunate to be able to retire at age 54. I did so to baby sit my one and only grand child who is 20 months old now. It has been such a blessing. There are benefits to the 50s.

  19. well...you have such a great attitude ladies! And realy everything in life is about attitude! Now I disagree with the OC Housewifes..reference...they get a lot of "help" to look the way they do....and I think you guys make a better poster child for Fabulous at Fifty then them. You guys look fantastic Plus do it on a single woman income...which I can't imagine is not easy...Cheers!

  20. To keep your self fit and fabulous is very important and demands much more attention. You have to pay special attention on your diet and have to go for walk regularly so that you did not gain extra fat and weight while taking good diet is also very necessary to keep your skin fresh.
