I'm still loving my Ikea sofa that I've had for almost 2 years now! Although I love the white slipcovers I can now change it out to blue once in awhile! As you can see, they match my shutters perfectly! Click here to go over to my product review page to hear (and see) more about these amazing slipcovers that were sent to me!
It's great to know that you are so happy with the sofa, Cindy! I have been thinking about buying the same one! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good, it looks like a beach cottage now with the blue and white!
ReplyDeleteCindy I have been looking for a new one also. I don't think I could have a white sofa, too many men in camouflage and mud, but I do
ReplyDeletelove yours and that is exactly what kind I would get. Thanks for
sharing, I going to check them out.

I agree, slipcovers are great. When we finally made the decision to buy our sofa I decided to get an extra color. Since that time the slipcovers have doubled in price so I am more than happy I did . I love your blue and white one. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Cindy! I just did a post on space saving and frugal furniture called "Living With the Space You Have" and was promoting IKEA. There furniture is so streamlined, space saving, and can be frugal too. Really, their prices are so reasonable!
ReplyDeleteTheir slip covered sofa is the best idea yet! I've recovered furniture but I haven't made a slip cover yet. I will though. The fabric yours is made of is so pretty!
LOVE the look! And the hydreangea post in the previous post was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM! Hugs!

I love slipcovers I have them every where.. My daughter laugh at me all the time. She tells me that if shes not careful to stay out of my way..I would slipcover her wheelchair..LOL... have a great day

Slipcovers do WONDERS, that's for sure, I adore how perfectly your shutters and your sofa match, the perfect blue =) Xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous sofa! My next big thing to save up for is a slipcover couch! Hope mine is as beautiful as yours!
ReplyDeleteYour ikea sofa looks great! We have looked at them but they seem small in the store, though it looks great in your home.~Cheers Kim
ReplyDeleteI just got my new Ikea Sofa with the white slip but seeing your new blue striped I need to get another for a spare.. let me go see who gave yours free... I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's also nice to hear you still love the sofa after 2 years...

I love your sofa, Cindy, white or blue. Your style is perfection. Sooo inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHi! I looked on the IKEA website for your sofa. They have 3 different prices listed. Do you by any chance know what the difference is? Did you go buy it or have it shipped? Sorry about all the questions...I just love the way your room looks and I'm looking for a sofa. Best Regards...
ReplyDeleteI just love my Ikea sofa! How I wish it looked as good as yours though, with 2 kids & a dog it does get a little bit of wear. I have the white sofa but I throw a big quilt on it, which I take off for company.
ReplyDeleteI can't fathom paying close to the same price (as the sofa) for a slipcover at this moment, but it sure looks beautiful. I love the little accent pillows too :-)
Cindy your sofa looks wonderful! I love the blue slip cover!
ReplyDeleteCindy- It looks great. I can't believe how closely the color matches that of the shutters. LOVE the slipcovers...LOVE it~ Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteI love slipcovers too and have slipcovered sofas from Ikea. So easy to keep clean. In the machine, out on the line, a bit of an iron and you have sofas looking fresh as a daisy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Anne xx
How wonderful you sofa looks -- both ways!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of the cover! So relaxing!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Cindy... it makes me think of a lovely Seaside Cottage retreat!
ReplyDeleteDawn... The Bohemian
The slips look great! Fun to be able to change the sofa color on whim. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Absolutely beautiful. They remind me of the ocean and Summertime and Victoria Magazine. :)
ReplyDeleteI gave you an award on my blog, if you are interested. It is in today's post.
Take care,
Elizabeth

Dear Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI am not a blue person but your new slipcovers are simply awesome. The white ones look great but these blue ones are "icing on the cake" for a change. Thanks for sharing them.
Hugs,
Connie
I love that sofa and its versatility! Looks sooo cute in blue in your place Cindy! Vanna
ReplyDeleteI love my Mitchell Gold sofa and chairs with white slipcovers. However, I have been reading that that look is so 90's! I don't care, I plan to have and enjoy mine for many years to come. Does anyone else think they are outdated?

ReplyDeleteOh Cindy, I love, love, love your new slipcover!!! That blue is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I saw this post today - this is the sofa I'm planning to buy in a couple weeks! I'm going to try it with the white cover for a while and see how it works (with a 4-year-old boy, hubby and dog!) but will probably get at least one other cover. thanks again for posting this!
