Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

~Lee Greenwood

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend!

  13. AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! We have sooooooo very much to be thankful for. I hate the wars anywhere but, my hubby always said "I'f rather fight them on their land than mine" And being a Vietnam Vet I think he probably knows what he's talking about. Thank you for reminding us all to remember our Soldiers & Vets! This place may not be perfect but, all you have to do is leave it to see how wonderful we really have it. HUGS! Charlene

  23. Right back at you, Sweetie! I love that song! When I was in elementary school, we sang it as part of a concert and at the end, we held up colored cardboard that made a giant flag! What memories! "I'll stand up next to you, and defend Her still today! 'Cause they're ain't no doubt I love this land, God Bless the USA!"
