Click on photo to enlarge I just love Valentine's Day and it's less than a month away! My favorite Valentine's Day was when I was about 10 years old. My dad came home from work with a big heart-shaped box of chocolates and a big bouquet of red roses. I assumed they were both for my mom but after he handed my mom the roses he turned to give me the HUGE box of chocolates! I could not believe they were for me!!! The funny thing is...my dad doesn't even remember this! I just remember feeling so special that day and it's one of those moments of my childhood that I can remember so vividly! 
Speaking about dad....he cut out some more wooden hearts for me. I have 4 more toile hearts that I just listed on etsy. You can find the link on my left side bar. If these sell out I'll be making more!

ReplyDeleteI'm hating this weather too. I was in the bathroom when the lights went out (around 5:30am)! Of course, candles and flashlighs are downstairs! Pitch black! Got some bumps and bruises feeling my way around. ha! Thank goodness the power came back on after about 5 hrs. Did you lose any power?
