Anticipating Spring


I love this time of year. I think I love the anticipation of Spring as much as I love Spring itself. I've been daydreaming of my little cottage garden turning into lush rambling rose haven, birds building nests and the warm sun on my back as I plant more flowers~ have I ever told you I'm a big-time daydreamer? Oh, I love daydreaming! I also love this time of year because the stores have the most adorable spring-time decorations. I found the cutest store last weekend. I don't know how I've missed it all these years. It's right in downtown Campbell, the city I live in! I didn't have my camera but I'm going back. I met the owner and got the okay to take some photos for my blog. I found this adorable nest, miniature garden tools and little birdie there. I worked in my garden a little bit last weekend. I planted a new climbing rose, some primroses and pansies. You can peek out the window and see some of the flowers in the photo below...

    So unfair...we won't be working/planting in the garden until May! It's the price we pay for living somewhere with the possibility of a white Christmas.

    Your new finds are just beautiful. Spring is my favorite season, followed closely by Autumn...Summer and Winter---not so much. Enjoy your new plantings!

    Oh my gosh, I am right there with ya! I cannot wait for spring! I think spring has the prettiest decor of any season. Of course I am partial to bunnies and birds, lol!

    I want one of everything! Too cute and how I long for spring. We are having snow every day this week and my garden is but a buried white memory. My only outdoor activity for months yet will be shoveling snow from one pile to another!

    What lovely pictures! I agree, the 'looking forward' is almost as much fun as actually being there! I'm hoping to plant a climbing rose next month next to the front porch.

    What a pretty vignette! I'm waiting for spring, too. Unfortunately, our ground is frozen solid. :( So I guess my daydreams have to be a little stronger! LOL
