Inspiration Friday - Cottage Gardens

I didn't get a chance to scan any magazine pics this week so I found some beautiful cottage gardens on Flickr. Aren't these beautiful? I would love to have any of these!

    Wonderful pictures...I adore the cottages of Carmel and those gardens. Little bits of Heaven.

    That rabbit carriage was delightful!

    Too sweet...oh, and I got outbid! *Hmpf* At the last minute too...
    Would have looked wonderful in our bedroom at **Run Cottage!

  10. I am working on my cottage garden! I have a bed right in front of my front porch that I an attempting to create that full, lovely cottage look; not so sure my neighbors (with their gorgeous symetrical gardens) appreciate it - YET! LOL

    I love cottage gardens but also [here] living under what feels like forever drought conditions it has evolved out of necessity in that I need those hardy, strong classic [pass along] cottage perennials to survive the heat and lack of rain. I have finally convinced my DH that a small scaled white picket fence would just set it off!
