More Buttons!

I'm beginning to think I have a serious addiction. First it was dishes and now it's buttons. I went to the thrift store on my lunch hour yesterday. I was just about to walk out empty-handed when I looked at the area with hanging bags of sewing notions. Usually there isn't much of anything there...old cheap lace (not the good stuff), cheap, ugly ribbon, etc. I squealed out loud when I saw a bag of old buttons, and then I found another, and another. Four little bags of old buttons for 69 cents each! I was happy!

  4. You lucky dog. I really do think it's too much though. Would you like my address so that I can take some of those off your hands? I'd hate to have people talking about you!

  6. I won't tell you what I paid on eBay for a similar bag of buttons. Let me just say....I'm jealous! What a find! I love buttons - they look great just in a dish like you've displayed them or you can use them in so many crafty ways.

    Good Deal!

  11. Wow! What a deal!
Yesterday I had in my hand a bag of buttons at Goodwill... same size bag and it was marked $2.99! Their prices have gotten ridiculous! I didn't buy them.
But I do call the Goodwill headquarters often and complain about their prices.

  17. Used stores around here would have at the least $2.98 on each of those bags. I sure am glad stores other places have fairer prices. Great buy! :) Sarah
